How to Watch the Kamala Harris vs. Donald Trump Debate
The first presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 9 p.m. ET. The debate meetup will be held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia and is expected to last 90 minutes with two commercial breaks.
The upcoming debate marks the second debate of the 2024 election season - the first was between Trump and President Joe Biden in which the president had to stepdown from the presidential race immediately after the debate.
The Sept. 10 debate will be moderated by "World News Tonight" anchor David Muir and ABC News Live "Prime" anchor Linsey Davis. There will be no live audience present for the event. The debate will air live on ABC News and is likely to be broadcast on other networks as well.
For those without cable, you can watch it on any streaming service that offers these channels in your area, like YouTube TV or Hulu + Live TV. Additionally, ABC will stream the debate on Disney+, Hulu, ABC News Live, and ABC.com.
After the Harris–Trump meetup, another debate will hold. The next debate will be between vice presidential candidates Gov. Tim Walz and Sen. JD Vance, set for October 1 in New York City and hosted by CBS News. This is the only vice presidential debate on the schedule so far.
As for the presidential debates, the campaigns have agreed to just two. The first took place in June between Trump and President Joe Biden before Biden exited the race. Trump has since suggested holding two more debates later this fall.
